Maxximus aka Tiny Tim

I bought Maxximus (aka Tiny Tim) a few months ago! He is such a super guy! Very friendly and adjusted so well to our family. We had another dog and they are new brothers and get along well! He is sooo lovable and so sweet. HE is the cutest dog ever! Being in Canada I wasn't sure about getting a dog online BUT the people were so kind and called to give me all the informations right away! He was flown to me right away and has been the best dog ever since! We love him tons!

One of your biggest concerns with purchasing a puppy is, "Will my puppy get sick when I take him home?" He could. Despite all of our precautions - the vaccinations at the breeder, our health check and vaccination program, our health care standards, our monitoring and tender loving care - sometimes things happen beyond our control. They happen because the puppies' immune system is very complex and subject to many variables. At some point in its early life a puppy loses the immune protection its mother gives it and has to develop its own. It's different for every puppy. Although we work to stay on top of it, sometimes a puppy fools us. Sickness also happens because puppies are babies after all, and babies are delicate.

MY PUPPY HAS AN UPPER RESPITORY ISSUES. Please click here for more information.

AFFORDABLE PUPS NOW REQUIRES PROOF OF ALBON GIVEN TO YOUR PUPPY WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ARRIVAL FOR THE WARRANTY TO BE VALID!!! If your vet will not provide you with albon we can send it along with the puppy for a charge of $15. Coccidia can develop, coccidia is a parasite that can dwell in the intestines, most of the time it comes from the mother, the puppy may not shed coccidian until after it arrives because it is usually brought out through stress. This parasite is not deadly at all but can cause irritation to the puppies intestine wall, resulting in diarrhea. Coccidia can consume a 2lb dog in less than 24 hours resulting in heavy vomiting, coccidia is easily prevented with albon. As a preventative we give the puppy 1/2 CC of Albon daily until the puppy flies out. We ask you to visit with your vet and get 7 CC of Albon as preventative; this will last for 14 days and should be of great assistance to the puppy. Coccidia useally shows just after 24 hours of arrival due to the stress of the flight, so please make sure you have ALBON, it will only help your new baby!!!

We do everything in our power to prevent a puppy's illness, yet we sometimes run into something we cannot prevent. It doesn't happen often but once in a while something does go awry. Should that happen to you, we want you to know that we'll be there for you and your puppy. That's what the Puppy Warranty is for. It's your assurance of our commitment to the puppy's health.

The puppy you have selected is warranted by us to the original purchaser to be healthy at the time of purchase...in accordance with the above. We also warranty your puppy to be free from Parvo Virus, Distemper, Hepatitis, and/or Corona Virus for a full fourteen days from the date of purchase. Should your veterinarian detect any of the above mentioned diseases within the fourteen day period immediately following your purchase, you must notify us within twenty four hours (614-570-6362).

We need your cooperation. You must take responsibility for your pet. Begin by taking it to a veterinarian immediately. Our warranty stipulates that you must have you puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within four days of purchase. This allows you to confirm the puppy's health and your veterinarian to begin a regimen of preventive health care. Your veterinarian will review the records of our program and inform you about the quirks of a puppy's immune system. Do not put off this initial vet visit. Remember that we have been monitoring your puppy's health daily. The situation can change very rapidly, and it can be caused by stress. A new home, new food, new people: all can confuse a puppy and cause it to become unhealthy and unhappy. Consult with your veterinarian immediately on how to handle these things. We'll help too, but don't just talk to us, talk to your vet.

Some puppy problems do not surface until the puppy has matured for awhile. They can happen with any puppy. These are the most difficult to deal with. We want you to know that we will be there to help should something like a congenital or hereditary disorder pop up in the first 30 days. We will help provided you have been responsible in your duties as a pet owner. Our warranty states that, "you must keep the puppy under regular and continued care of a licensed veterinarian." If you have done this for your puppy, then we can do no less than stand behind our selection and care procedures.

We warranty your puppy for 365 days from the date of purchase against hereditary and congenital disorders that may interfere with your puppy's ability to lead a normal life. No cash refunds, No vet bill refunds, only credit towards new puppy will be awarded.

Sugar & Diet

We do not warranty small dogs for sugar issues, many teacup/toy animals are prone to having issues with blood sugar, especially in there first few days after arrival. Many of the small breed dogs can become nervous because of the new enviroment they are in, and their appetite decreases. There are many different solutions to this problem, but the bottom line is that the puppy needs to be fed no matter what. If a small puppy goes more than 12 hours without food you will run into problems!

We do not send the puppy out unless it is eating consistently and has a solid stool. All dogs leave our possesion in 100% health; we do not ship dogs unless they are 100% stable!

How Do I Know if my Puppy's Sugar is Dropping Off?

Here are four signs of dropping sugar:

Once this has occurred you must get the puppy on IV with dextrose at a vet clinic, dog will most likely have to stay 24-48 hours or until the puppy regains strenth and begins to eat. We will not cover any vet bills related to these issues!

Making the Move Easier

Have Pedigree puppy food (lamb and rice) on hand or Science Diet. Also a Hertz milk replacer is a great idea for first few days. Lastly, purchase some Nutri-Cal paste from a local pet store; it can be applied to the tongue to boost sugar.

Final Words

This letter is to help you, not to scare you. Problems occur most with yorkies, maltese, toy poodles, chihuahuas & pomeranians! All these puppies are great but they tend to have issues with their sugar so we are trying to prepare you!!!
